Amelia - Tapa Earrings

All Koloa pieces are named after a member of their family and are organised by generation to align with the style.

The Amelia earrings are a beautiful circular design and are named after the eldest niece; there are seven nieces in total, each with a different personality and range of interests and skills. The tapa is white, unpainted, but shows the amazing fibres of the cloth that have been beaten over many months of collective work.

MATERIAL: Tapa - Unpainted beaten mulberry cloth + Resin. Ngatu - Painted barkcloth + Resin

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: We recommend you care and gently handle your item, treat it like the koloa (treasure) it is. To clean the item, use a damp cloth and let air dry. Avoid oils and moisturisers.
