Retail Associate - 3 Days

Start Date: asap
Term: 3 days per week / Permanent | can commit to 1 year at minimum

Schedule: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday or Thursday – Saturday each week as a base schedule (dependant on staff levels) | scheduling flexibility is required

• must have flexibility to assist with staff cover (weekends primarily)
• must be able and happy to work public holidays
• opportunity to pick up extra hours during staff leave and full time work over summer

This role is based on our shop floor, so best suits an individual with retail experience who thoroughly enjoys engaging with customers throughout the day and has a sharp eye and passion for visual merchandising, organisation and presentation.

Responsibilities 

• customer engagement and sales
• build and maintain strong ongoing customer relationships
• process transactions via Shopify point of sale system
• day-to-day shop merchandising
• maintain shop presentation to a high standard
• build and maintain thorough product knowledge
• day-to-day visual merchandising
• gift wrapping
• cleaning duties
• inventory management
• restock sold goods in store
• process incoming goods
